Your problem with others' clothing choices is just that: your problem. Maybe you find bottoms offensive; in Korea, they find bare shoulders and decolletage offensive. Some cultures find bare heads obscene. That doesn't make your opinion fact. It is not anyone else's job to dress in ways that please you.
You Don't Have to Be Pretty. You don't owe prettiness to anyone. Not to your boyfriend/spouse/partner, not to your co-workers, especially not to random men on the street. You don't owe it to your mother, you don't owe it to your children, you don't owe it to civilization in general. Prettiness is not a rent you pay for occupying a space marked "female."And let it be known that I will be shamelessly sporting silver lamé hot pants at tomorrow's race. Better call the fashion police!
